Social Media & Marketing Co-ordinator

CWDi is expanding our through the line offering and we are looking for a passionate and proactive Social Media & Marketing Co-ordinator who will fill a hybrid role. This marketing wizzkid will work on both internal agency marketing as well as on client accounts. They will work closely with our Creative Director and client service team on a variety of campaigns, project and brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating marketing strategies both CWDi and our clients
  • Execute on CWDi and client marketing strategies
  • Management of internal CWDi marketing budget
  • Monthly reporting on CWDi and client marketing strategy
  • Manage client and company’s social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant platforms
  • Social media management of large projects, activations, events, and community management
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries promptly, and monitor customer reviews.
  • Keep social media channels/presence updated and brand focused
  • Assist with news and media opportunities, briefing and managing the relationship with our PR agency
  • Brief copywriters and designers on various content and artwork required
  • Work as part of a team to develop creative marketing campaigns
  • Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content calendar
  • Write and distribute e-newsletters to subscribers using MailChimp
  • Update the company’s website using WordPress CMS
  • Media buying and management thereof

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience community management experience
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing or other relevant fields
  • Experience using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Highly organised multi-tasker
  • Thrives under pressure
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Up-to-date with digital technology trends / online marketing
  • Ability to interpret website traffic (Analytics)
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
  • Excellent eye for design

Advantageous  

  • Design experience
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and creating gifs
