67 Logos Designathon

What is the 67 Logos Designathon?

67 Logos is a CWDi initiative, launched in 2018 – where 67 designers come together in JHB and CPT to design 67 logos for 67 small businesses – all in one day – Mandela Day, 18 July.

For many small businesses, owning an expertly designed logo is an ever-elusive goal. We wanted our initiative to have lasting impact and to help these entrepreneurs stand out in the South African market.

We’re incredibly proud to see how this initiative continues to connect the creative industry to a diverse range of start-up businesses and suppliers – all for a common cause: to drive change through the power of design.

Two locations. One day. 67 logos.

This is how it works:

  1. Make the pledge as a designer or apply as a small business looking for a professional logo.
  2. We will select and match designers with businesses, based on their profiles, passions and experience.
  3. On 18 July, Designers and Businesses will meet for the first time at the Designathon – and the fun begins!
  4. Designers will have 3 hours to execute on their brief while business owners attend an impactful Skills Development workshop.

Please note that the applications are now closed. Please watch this space for information about the 2020 67 Logos Designathon.
